Simpsonwood Park, located near Peachtree Corners, hosts over 200 acres of woodlands adjacent to the Chattahoochee River, just above the deep bend north of Holcomb Bridge Road. This park includes mix of forest types, a broad network of trails, and a beautiful meandering stream that eventually drops into the Chattahoochee. Join us for a rare chance to visit a premiere Atlanta greenspace -- and help restore it! This unique area is a protected City of Atlanta Watershed Management property along Utoy Creek. Hop on your bike and join Kathryn for a tour of relic trees, uncommon species, neo-tropical songbirds, and wildlife signs - including an impressive network of beaver dams - all to be found while riding along the Silver Comet Trail, just west of Atlanta.
