Simpsonwood Park, located near Peachtree Corners, hosts a little over 220 acres of woodlands adjacent to the Chattahoochee River, just above the deep bend north of Holcomb Bridge Road.
This park includes mix of forest types, a broad network of trails, and a beautiful meandering stream that eventually drops into the Chattahoochee. A crown of impressive oaks adorns the hilltop near the parking area.
We’ll walk approximately 2 miles, from ridge to river and back, stopping to notice interesting features as we go.
