Your Help is Needed
to Restore Adams Park!
Did you know Adams Park contains an old growth forest remnant dating back to the time when all of metro Atlanta was owned by the Muscogee Creek Nation?
Today our natural landscapes are threatened by invasive species, but using chemical treatments and indiscriminate clearing only further harms our urban forest and natural resources.
Let’s do it right – join your friends and neighbors to safely remove invasive species to restore a healthy landscape.
You’ll learn about the special quality of Atlanta’s urban forest, including about trees, wildlife, rare species and how to identify old growth forest remnants — which might even be found in your back yard!
You’ll also have the opportunity to train with us and become an Adams Park Steward and teach others!
Get outdoors, have some fun and help your neighborhood park!
