Join us for a short, interesting walk in one of metro Atlanta’s hidden gem greenspaces. This walk is less than a mile, but we’ll be literally off-the-beaten path, walking on minor trails or off trail, including on a steep rocky/rooty trail section, and a few spots with brushy undergrowth. This small pocket of forested slope runs alongside a tributary of Nancy Creek and hosts old growth forest remnants, uncommon species, an unusual multi-stemmed Sycamore tree, and a tree possibly shaped as a ceremonial tree by Native Americans.
