Aerotropolis Nature Park

This new 48-acre park is located just outside the City of Atlanta not far from College Park. It's owned by the Southeastern Trust for Parks and Land, and much of the property retains high value native forest, including older trees and old growth indicator species. Volunteer – Chestnut Oak Ridge

Help us restore a special native forest in north Atlanta with Sandy Springs Eco-Stewards! Believe it or not, this old growth forest remnant survives on a steep slope and floodplain between the confluence of two creeks sandwiched between neighborhood yards and a highly developed commercial corridor.
