Tree Risk Walk & Learn, West Manor Park

June 18, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

This walk has been rescheduled due to the weather. Date TBD

We love our stately trees and Atlanta’s signature urban forest surpasses other cities, providing Atlanta’s livable character and significant health benefits to its residents. But sometimes trees can become unhealthy and fall, and every homeowner should have a basic knowledge of the trees in their yard — knowing the signs of when a tree is generally healthy or unhealthy, and know when to call in a professional Arborist for help in assessing whether a tree is at risk for falling.

Trees don’t fall for no reason, and a tree typically will show signs they are at risk for years before they actually fall. By learning a few key signs to look for on trees, you can quickly identify which trees are generally healthy and which trees might not be healthy — so you have time to remove trees before they fall, or rest easier knowing your healthy trees will likely be there for your great-grandchildren to enjoy.

Eco-A partners with ISA certified Arborist Edward Morrow on this informative walk where we’ll show simple techniques and signs for examining your trees to assess their general health and fall risk.

Tree Risk Walk & Learn at West Manor Park is offered in partnership with Atlanta Neighborhood Planning Unit I.
