Join us in helping to restore an old growth forest remnant in Sandy Springs at Chestnut Oak Ridge!
We’ll be removing a variety of invasive species from this small but impressive greenspace located just off the Abernathy Road corridor.
We’ll walk approximately 1/4 mile along natural trails, and we’ll be working in off-trail locations. Please bring work gloves and wear sturdy shoes, and long pants and sleeves are recommended as we’ll be working in off-trail areas.
Please bring your own gloves, we can also provide you with used gloves, or you can purchase a brand new pair of gloves for $5 that you can take home with you – or use next time!
We supply all tools such as clippers, loppers, small saws, and digging tools.
