We invite Eco-A volunteers and neighbors and friends of Grove Park to participate in the continued restoration efforts of this special and unique remnant old-growth forest.

We’ll focus on removing light runners of English ivy from a sensitive slope. Master Naturalist Kathryn Kolb will show how to recognize high value forest areas and we’ll end with a short walk to a beautiful section of Proctor Creek.

We’ll walk approximately 1-1.5 miles on natural trails along with some off-trail locations. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, closed toed-shoes, and work gloves are recommended. We’ll supply extra gloves, clippers and any other tools needed.
