Join us in helping to remove invasive species from historic Adams Park!
Adams Park is one of our favorite in-town parks, hosting high value native forest areas as well as a lake (and fountain) and many recreational amenities. The creek holds rock formations reminiscent of a North Georgia stream.
We’ll walk 1/4 mile at most in open areas as well as forested areas. Please wear sturdy shoes, and long pants and sleeves are recommended as we’ll be working in woodland areas.
Please bring your own gloves, we can also provide you with used gloves, or you can purchase a brand new pair of gloves for $5 that you can take home with you – or use next time!
We supply all tools such as clippers, loppers, small saws, and digging tools.
To register (RSVP) clickHERE – details and directions sent to registered participants.
A donation of $15 or more helps support our programs.
