This walk is full with a wait list! For more info contact us Located just a little south of the Atlanta perimeter is the 146-acre William H. Reynolds Memorial Nature Preserve, in Morrow, GA. Its previous owner Judge Reynolds, fell in love with the landscape and donated 130 acres to Clayton County on the condition the natural area would protected in perpetuity. Like most larger greenspace properties near Atlanta, this is a "patchwork quilt" of landscape types. Along its network…
Find out more »Dunwoody Nature Center
Dunwoody Nature Center is tucked between neighborhoods and is only a few minutes from a major shopping mall in Atlanta's northern suburbs. Yet this nature preserve hosts over 20 acres of native woodlands, with two streams and a small wetland. Parts of the area show impacts of an old homestead and some farming, but this greenspace also holds remnants of the original forest with mature diverse tree canopy and many uncommon species. Find out more »Help! Chaff Flower in Johnson-Taylor Park
We need your help to control and eradicate the extremely invasive Japanese Chaff Flower plant that is trying to take over Johnson-Taylor Park and many other parks and greenspaces in metro Atlanta.
