This walk is full, now taking registrations for wait list.

North Cooper Lake Park is located in Smyrna, GA, not far from the Silver Comet Trail. This 51-acre park hosts over two miles of trails, designed primarily for mountain biking, in addition to a large public open space and community garden. We’ll walk on forested trails that include a section of one of  Nickajack Creek’s larger tributaries, and we’ll enjoy finding older trees, possibly uncommon, indicator species and other interesting finds along our way. We’ll walk on well established natural surface paths designed with switchbacks, though a few areas may have steeper sections.
