Grove Park/Proctor Creek Invasive Removal Work Session

July 27, 2019 @ 9:15 am - 10:30 am

Eco-A invites you to join us in a “short and sweet” volunteer learn/work session removing invasive hops and other plant species along the stream edge at Proctor Creek from 9:15 – 10:30 am.

Streambank restoration expert Jack White leads this work session targeted on a small area where we planted native willows a few months ago. We will remove Japanese hops, Japanese knotweed and likely other species that threaten the willow planting. These are species you may wish to remove from your backyard as well.

There is no fee to attend, but please RSVP here – make sure to specify the date and time you wish to attend. Questions? Call Jack White at 404-454-6892.

Donations for our programs are welcomed here.
