In our Frazer Forest Stewardship Walk, Master Naturalist Kathryn Kolb shows how the history of this special tract of forest is revealed in the landscape and how to “read” the forest in any season. We’ll cover tree species and character and show how to recognize some of our “indicator” species, and why they’re important.

You’ll also learn more about Frazer’s ongoing program to help care for this special remnant of the old-growth forest which was originally connected to the Fernbank and Deepdene tracts, and how to become a Frazer Forest Steward.
