Intuitive Walk, with Meredith Walters

June 3, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Eco-A welcomes Career Coach and author Meredith Walters as co-leader of this special walk through mature native forest at Lionel Hampton-Beecher Hills Park, where we’ll allow the quiet voice of nature to help us tune into the whispered voice of our own inner wisdom.

This outing will be a different type of nature walk. We’ll share some knowledge about the native forest around us, but we’ll focus on ways to connect with the earth’s natural systems, as well as our own, at a deeper level. We’ll use our intuitive skills to connect our nature within to the natural world around us.

We’ll walk approximately 1.5-2 miles, alternating between silence and sharing our experiences, stopping occasionally for a solo or paired activity designed by Meredith Walters to deepen our awareness and strengthen our abilities to engage through our intuition. Kathryn Kolb will lead a short introduction to Qi Gong, and share insights about the forest environment around us.

                 More about Meredith Walters

Meredith is a lifelong nature lover and enthusiastic Eco-A participant. As a career coach, she helps people find their path by learning how to tap into the intelligence of their bodies and remembering their true nature. She’s published one book of short stories about the first hero to go on a quest to find his calling, and has a novel about rediscovering our lost connection to nature coming out next year. Ever since a breakdown in her mid-twenties helped her experience the healing power of connection, Meredith has been inspired to help others reconnect with themselves, other people, and the wider, living world.
