Join us in helping to restore natural areas in Brookhaven’s Ashford Forest Preserve! 

We’ll be removing a variety of invasive species from forested areas at Murphey Candler.

We’ll walk approximately 1/2 to 1 mile along natural trails, and we’ll be working in off-trail locations. Please bring work gloves and wear sturdy shoes, and long pants and sleeves are recommended as we’ll be working in off-trail areas.

Please bring your own gloves, we can also provide you with used gloves, or you can purchase a brand new pair of gloves for $5 that you can take home with you – or use next time!

We supply all tools such as clippers, loppers, small saws, and digging tools.
