DESCRIPTION:Join us in helping to restore natural areas in Brookhaven’s Ashford Forest Preserve! \nWe’ll be removing a variety of invasive species from forested areas at Murphey Candler.\nWe’ll walk approximately 1/2 to 1 mile along natural trails\, and we’ll be working in off-trail locations. Please bring work gloves and wear sturdy shoes\, and long pants and sleeves are recommended as we’ll be working in off-trail areas.\nPlease bring your own gloves\, we can also provide you with used gloves\, or you can purchase a brand new pair of gloves for $5 that you can take home with you – or use next time!\nWe supply all tools such as clippers\, loppers\, small saws\, and digging tools.  \n \nTo register (RSVP) click HERE                                                                                              Details and directions sent to registered participants. \nA donation of $15 or more helps support our programs.\n
