Probst Park, Naturalist Walk
June 14 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am
Event Navigation
Probst Park is one of our new favorite metro parks, located in the northeast corner of the City of Tucker, just west of Stone Mountain. This forest hosts mature oak and hickory uplands while tulip poplar and beech thrive along lower slopes and a stream ravine. A small lake adds biodiversity to this rich woodland habitat where we’ll find a wide array of trees as well as forest species that indicate older soils and old growth remnants.
We’ll walk approximately 1 mile on an easy trail with some hills, stopping frequently to discuss what we find along our way.
