It’s truly amazing that West Atlanta neighborhoods hold the largest and highest value urban forests of any major city in the US. At Cascade Springs Nature Preserve we can discover remnants of the old growth forest that stood here only 20 decades ago, as part of the Muscogee Creek Nation.

We’ll walk approximately 1.5 – 2 miles on natural trails, as we admire the rare species and old growth trees that make this park an exceptional example of what makes Atlanta the “City in a Forest.”
