Join us for a walk through DeKalb County’s Glen Emerald Park, located just south of East Atlanta in the South River Watershed. This park hosts open recreation areas as well as a native forest with lake and wetlands that attracts a surprisingly high diversity of birds. Tis season we’ll likely see winter migrants in addition to year-round locals, and possibly visiting waterbirds. We’ll also visit the old stone garden feature among a stand of older oaks.

We’ll walk approximately 1-1.5 miles on paved and unpaved paths.
