Boat Rock Legacy Garden and Nursery:
The mission of the Legacy Garden is to protect, collect, propagate and distribute endangered vegetation indigenous to the woodlands of South Fulton County. Many of the native plants in the Legacy Garden’s collection have originated from land under development in the Boat Rock area. Photos of plants, species list, Legacy Garden documents.
Environmental Experiential Lesson Plans:
These Georgia QCC lesson plans were originally gathered together from the public domain by biologist, teacher, and climber Sue Wilmoth. Original authors attributed where possible. Although we wanted lesson plans for use in Boat Rock Preserve, there is no reason why they cannot be used in any outdoor setting. They are available for public download in html and pdf formats.
