Volunteer – Adams Park

Join Eco-A and your neighbors and friends of Adams Park to in helping to restore this historic West Atlanta greenspace gem. The native forest here retains remnants of the old growth forest from days it was owned by the Muscogee Creek Nation, only about 20 decades ago.  We'll focus on removing invasive species carefully from this high-value forest. Chief Junaluska Memorial and Birding Weekend

Join us for a remarkable weekend at southwest edge of the Great Smoky Mountains. The weekend includes a spring migrants birding and spring ephemerals wildflower walk combined with a Cherokee history talk with Archaeologist Quentin Bass. Spring Wildflower Hike at Elachee Nature Center

High Falls Nature Trail

High Falls State Park hosts Georgia's largest waterfall south of Atlanta, an impressive 135 foot cascade over a tumbling rock formation that heralds the transition from Georgia's Piedmont to Coastal Plain.
