The West Palisades is of our favorite walks along Chattahoochee National Recreation Area trails. We’ll see an impressive diversity of trees, due in part to the variety of ecosystems from ridge to river, and the age and history of the forest we find here.

We’ll walk approximately 2-2.5 miles on natural trails with some hills. We’ll have the opportunity to test our winter tree ID skills, and we may take a short off trail creek walk.
