Large granite boulders, some of them 35 feet tall, are scattered along a ridge in a well established hickory, oak, and beech woodland. This woodland hosts a broad representation of wildflower species, native shrubs, trees, and a large range of smaller wildlife from toads, fish and skinks to the larger hawks and deer. This opportunity to develop environmental experiential learning in the highly developed Atlanta metro area is unique.
