Grove Park Nature Walk

March 10, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for a naturalist walk in one of Atlanta’s hidden gem urban forests tucked in along the Proctor Creek corridor near Atlanta’s Grove Park. We’ll explore a value hardwood forest with older oak and beech trees, some likely 150 years old or older, in addition to walking along the stream corridor at Proctor Creek.  We’ll also visit an interesting corner of Grove Park, and we’ll show why this area is so special, and why it deserves focus for restoration efforts.

Part of this walk will include walking off-trail in somewhat steep areas, and there might be mud along the stream section. Please call 404-862-0118 if you have any questions.

To register (RSVP) click HERE – details and directions sent to registered participants.

A donation of $15 or more helps support our programs.

Note: In the case of high attendance for this walk, priority will be given to residents of the Grove Park neighborhood.
