DESCRIPTION:\nJoin us for wildflower walk in a little known greenspace gem located in an unmaintained cemetery along Hollywood Road near Proctor Creek. This greenspace offers a rare preserved woodland hilltop with almost no invasive species on the higher slopes. This true remnant of the original forest is a great place to view a wide variety of spring ephemeral wildflowers\, several old growth trees\, including very large sycamore “relic” trees in the floodplain of Proctor Creek. \nWe’ll walk on un-maintained trails and off-trail in several locations\, and of course we’ll be respectful of those who rest eternally on this beautifully forested hill. \nBring your binoculars\, we’ll also listen for migrating songbirds and look for signs of other wildlife.\n\n                              To register (RSVP) click HERE  – Details and directions sent to registered participants (limit 10 due to sensitive location)\nA donation of $15 or more helps sustain our programs.\n
