SUMMARY:Volunteer - Riverside Park\, Sandy Springs
DESCRIPTION:Join our Sandy Springs Eco-Stewards in helping to remove invasive species from an old growth forest remnant at the new Riverside Park where we are working to remove invasive species and restore the exceptional native forest! \nWe’ll be working near the drive but in off trail areas. Please bring work gloves (or we will provide work gloves if you need them). Please wear sturdy close-toed shoes\, and lightweight long pants are recommended. \nEveryone will learn about the special nature of one of Sandy Springs premier natural areas\, and why we can only achieve careful restoration work without chemical sprays or harm to native species with your help!  \nWe’ll supply any tools needed such as clippers\, loppers\, small saws\, and trowels or shovels.  \n  \nTo register (RSVP) click HERE  – Details and directions sent to registered participants \nA donation of $15 or more helps sustain our programs.\n \n \n \n
