SUMMARY:Volunteer - LaVista Park\, Brookhaven
DESCRIPTION:Join our Brookhaven Eco-Stewards in helping to remove invasive species from a creek corridor and old growth forest remnants at LaVista Park. \nWe’ll walk approximately 1/4 of a mile mostly off-trail. Please bring work gloves and wear sturdy close-toed shoes\, as we may be working in shrubby areas. Everyone will learn about the special nature found in this neighborhood park and why your volunteer work is so important. \nPlease bring your own gloves\, or we can provide gloves for you. We’ll also supply any tools needed such as clippers\, loppers\, small saws\, and trowels and shovels.  \n \nCoffee will be provided by a neighborhood restaurant\, Che Butter Jonez.
