DESCRIPTION:Join us in helping to restore an old growth forest remnant in Sandy Springs at Chestnut Oak Ridge! \nWe’ll be removing a variety of invasive species from this small but impressive greenspace located just off the Abernathy Road corridor. \nWe’ll walk approximately 1/4 mile along natural trails\, and we’ll be working in off-trail locations. Please bring work gloves and wear sturdy shoes\, and long pants and sleeves are recommended as we’ll be working in off-trail areas.\nPlease bring your own gloves\, we can also provide you with used gloves\, or you can purchase a brand new pair of gloves for $5 that you can take home with you – or use next time!\nWe supply all tools such as clippers\, loppers\, small saws\, and digging tools.  \nTo register (RSVP) click HERE – details and directions sent to registered participants. \nA donation of $15 or more helps support our programs.\n\n
