DESCRIPTION:Eco-A and West Atlanta Watershed Alliance invite you to join us in a volunteer learn/work day removing invasive species from a special original forest remnant at Grove Park and Proctor Creek greenspace.\nWe’ll have a short intro to the unusually high value of the urban forest in this special part of the Proctor Creek corridor\, followed by a training on how to remove invasive species such as privet\, autumn olive\, English ivy and others — these techniques will work well in your backyard too.\nMorning session 9:30-12:30\nThere is no fee to attend\, but please RSVP here – make sure to specify the date and time you wish to attend.
