DESCRIPTION:Sept 13 – Perkerson Park\nNaturalist Walk\nTime: 9:30 – 11:30 AM \nLocation: Perkerson Park\, Atlanta\, GA\n \nPerkerson Park is beloved as a wonderful hub for many types of recreation\, and we’re going off the beaten path to explore the Nature found at Perkerson. This 50-acre park located in close-in to downtown Atlanta\, and just a bit south of the Beltline contains a significant tributary of Atlanta’s South River – the only major River originating in the Atlanta metro area. This long section of waterway and the forest areas along the banks will provide much natural habitat we can explore.
