SUMMARY:Old Growth Forest Walk in Frazer Forest
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a stroll through the old growth woodlands at Frazer Forest\, a special tract of privately owned land which was originally part of the Fernbank Forest in the Lake Claire neighborhood near Druid Hills. We’ll discover several notable and rare species — even in the middle of the parking lot! — visit one of the oldest trees in metro Atlanta\, and hopefully find some late blooming wildflowers.\nEco-A is contributing to new efforts to restore this neighborhood gem\, and in addition to learning about the forest’s inhabitants\, we’ll also discuss best approaches on how to restore our native landscape — which might even be found in your backyard.\n \nTo register (RSVP) click HERE – details and directions sent to registered participants. \nA donation of $15 or more helps support our programs.\n\n\n\n
