SUMMARY:Henderson Park - Naturalist Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join friends of Henderson Park for a special weekday morning walk in this large\, 120-acre park which hosts several areas containing original forest remnants and native plant communities. Tributary streams of the North Fork of Peachtree Creek and a large lake bisect the park and help create a rich and diverse ecosystem here.\nWe’ll walk approximately 1.5 – 2 miles on natural trails on the east side of the park through several woodland areas\, then along a creek\, and ending at the lower edge of the lake.
