SUMMARY:Hampton-Beecher Stewardship Walk
DESCRIPTION:Eco-A partners with Friends of Lionel Hampton-Beecher Hills Nature Preserve for a Stewardship Series of educational walks and volunteer sessions. Our walk features “reading” the forest\, seeing the forest’s story through succession and growth patterns\, and we’ll cover tree identification\, as well as native and invasive plant identification\, including some species that indicate original forest remnants.  \nThis walk takes us “off the beaten path\,” through a beautiful area of mature woods\, extraordinary for a urban area.
