DESCRIPTION:Help usher in the fall season with an Autumnal Equinox celebration of Atlanta’s forests!\nWe will gather at 4 p.m. at Martha Miller’s house in Midway Woods for a short\, dynamic presentation on forests by Kathryn Kolb.  Afterward\, you can inspect the restoration in progress in Martha’s back yard\, featuring remnants of the old-growth forest that skirted Shoal Creek.\nThe party will continue with refreshments and with musical entertainment\, including songs sung by Tanya Povolny and a show by Atlanta’s incomparable acoustic guitar duo FLAP (FLAP’s CD “Novelty Stop” was named one of 5 best 2017 releases by Creative Loafing.
