EcoAddendum Native Plant Nursery
The EcoAddendum Nursery was incorporated as a non profit in 2007. It received 501(c)3 status in October of 2008. The vision of this nursery is to propagate plants collected from all over Georgia eventually placing them back into the public domain into safe and appropriate locations.
Beginning in 2001, Michael Williams, biologist Sue Wilmoth, and Pandra Williams have collected better than 77 species of plants from the Boat Rock area in SW Fulton County (with permission) prior to huge tracts of acreage being cleared for development. These plants were originally installed in the Williams’ back yard. But, back yards are fleeting things. The plants need large protected woodlands to have secure populations re-established throughout Georgia. The nursery effort has continued on into 2010, with seeds and cuttings collected by the EcoAddendum team, as well as donated seeds and cuttings from several Georgia botanists.
