Mary Lin Native Plant Sale

EcoAddendum and Mary Lin Elementary School’s Dirty Fingernails Club are proud to announce the 2010 Native Plant Sale.   Please help support the Dirty Fingernails Club’s Bird Butterfly and Bee Island. There are two ways to donate:

1)    Purchase a native plant from the Mary Lin Plant Sale  and donate it to the Dirty Fingernails Club Bird Butterfly and Bee Island.    Fill out an order form and email it to LSandoval@EcoAddendum.org and make checks out to EcoAddendum.  Payment can given to a Mary Lin Dirty Fingernail Club parent or there will be a collection box for order forms/payments in the Mary Lin office or mail order form/payment to EcoAddendum 743-B3 E. College Ave. Decatur Ga, 30030.

2)     Buy a native plant for your own garden.  Fill out an order form and email it to LSandoval@EcoAddendum.org Both payment and plant pick up will be on May 24st (Olympic Day) at Mary Lin Elementary School *  20% of your purchase will go directly to the Mary Lin Bird, Butterfly and Bee Island (For example, a $25 plant raises $5, a $15 plant raises $3, a $10 plant raises $2, a $8 plant raises $1.60). An email reminder will be sent out the week of the plant pick up.

The Mary Lin Native Plant Sale starts on April 26th and ends on May 17th.  All order forms need to be turned in by May 17th. If you are purchasing a plant for your own garden, May 24st is your pick up and payment date. Look for the EcoAddendum table at Mary Lin’s Olympic day on May 24st. (Please note there has been a date change on the Plant Sale Pick Up Day due to a date change for Olympic Day.  The new date is May 24th. Thank You!)

Bird, Butterfly and Bee Island Project:

Mary Lin has taken an abandoned outdoor art spot and has transformed it into an ornithology station (funded by a grant from the Council for Intown Neighborhoods & Schools).

Native Plant donations and proceeds from this plant sale will go towards creating habitat on Bird Butterfly and Bee Island.  Thank you for your support!
