This event has been rescheduled from the original date (March 3), due to rain.
Eco-A partners with Friends of Briarlake Forest for our Stewardship Series of educational walks. Our first walk features tree identification and character in the Briarlake Forest. We’ll learn to ID a diverse mix of overstory, midstory and and several understory by bark and form characteristics, as well as by the fallen leaves and nuts that we find. We’ll cover the oak groups and much more, including where different species are likely to be found and the roles they play in the forest ecosystem. Everyone is welcome to join this walk, with priority given to residents near Briarlake Forest. Limit 12.
