Proctor Creek – Volunteers Needed

February 2, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Old oaks near Grove Park/Proctor Creek

Eco-A and West Atlanta Watershed Alliance invite you to join us in a volunteer learn/work day removing invasive species from a special original forest remnant at Grove Park and Proctor Creek greenspaces.

We’ll have a short intro to the unusually high value of the urban forest in this special part of the Proctor Creek corridor, followed by a training on how to remove invasive species such as privet, autumn olive, English ivy and others — these techniques will work well in your backyard too.

Afternoon session 1:00 – 4:00

There is no fee to attend, but please RSVP here – make sure to specify the date you wish to attend.

Donations for our programs are welcomed here.
