Proctor Creek Restoration Input Meeting/Walk/Volunteer

May 19, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Eco-A invites you to join us in a volunteer learn/work day removing invasive species from a special original forest remnant at Grove Park and Proctor Creek greenspace.

We’ll have a restoration input session which will begin with a short intro to the unusually high value of the urban forest in this special part of the Proctor Creek corridor. We welcome Grove Park neighbors and stakeholders to join in and provide their input as we discuss the ongoing restoration plans for Grove Park. After the input session, we will have a short training on how to remove invasive species such as privet, autumn olive, English ivy, and others, followed by a walk/work session. You are welcome to join us for the input session, the walk, or both! We’ll meet at the picnic tables by the tennis courts at Grove Park.

Restoration Plan Input Session 2:00-3:00                  Restoration Walk and Work Session 3:00-4:30
