Event Navigation
This volunteer opportunity just popped-up, and it’s this Friday from 1-3pm.
We’ll focus on removing invasive Japanese Chaff Flower and possibly Liriope in this short, targeted session. We’ll also have a chance to walk in the forest, especially to visit the ancient Tulip Poplar.
Note: Participation in this Stewardship Walk counts as credit toward completion of our on-line Eco-Literacy course, click here for details.
We’ll walk approximately .5 miles on natural trails and work also in off-trail locations. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes, and work gloves are recommended.
Due to Covid-19 precautions, we are not currently re-using gloves, so please bring your own gloves, or we can provide a brand new, unused pair for $5 you can take home with you (and use next time).
We’ll supply tools such as clippers, loppers, small saws, and digging tools.
To register (RSVP) click HERE – details and directions sent to registered participants.
A donation of $15 or more helps support our programs.
